COVER REVEAL: THE TWISTED TRAGEDY OF MISS NATALIE STEWART

Hi friends! Book Expo America was amazing. I got to meet a bunch of my fellow Apocalypsies, I was interviewed by Justine Magazine and Bookish, spoke on panels, had a lovely signing at the RWA booth, attended book and blogger parties and had an amazing time talking about books with all kinds of lovely book-loving people. AND, another perk of BEA is that Sourcebooks got a chance to say that my beautiful cover is officially revealed. Here she is, sequel to my Indie Next pick and Scholastic "highly recommended" title DARKER STILL: A Novel of Magic Most Foul... May I present THE TWISTED TRAGEDY OF MISS NATALIE STEWART...

Swoon!
It releases the beginning of November at a bookstore near you!

From the back cover:

"I'm coming for you."
The whispers haunt her dreams and fill her waking hours with dread. Something odd is happening. Something unnatural.
Possession of the living. Resurrection of the dead.
And Natalie Stewart is caught right in the middle. Jonathon, the one person she thought she could trust, has become a double-agent for the dark side. But he plays the part so well, Natalie has to wonder how much he's really acting. She can't even see what it is she's fighting. But the cost of losing is her heart, her sanity, her soul.

I can't wait to share more of Natalie and Jonathon's adventures with you! I'm very proud of this book, it's action-packed, romantic, and guaranteed to give you goosebumps-- maybe a nightmare or two...

Here's the cover copy from Barnes and Noble:
"Extravagant, alluring, and unabashedly romantic, this anthology of YA historical romances includes stories from some of today’s hottest teen authors, both bestselling and on the rise. Magnificent ballrooms, expansive estates, carriages, and dark alleys set the scene for strong-willed heroines running the gamut from wallflowers to undercover spies to heiresses. Wealth, history, glamour, and romance combine in this thick and inviting paperback."

My story, "At Will", features a talented young Shakespearean actress who is brought to London to play both Shakespeare's heroines AND heroes. She's the only one who really knows her own gender as she becomes a source of gossip, fascination and scandal.

This will be a nice release to look forward to in September as we make our way to November and the release of THE TWISTED TRAGEDY OF MISS NATALIE STEWART... I hope to have a cover reveal for the next Magic Most Foul book for you soon! Blessings!

Check out the video, (pause at .06 because it flies by very quickly) and there sits this beautiful cover!

Neat!!

So now that Miss Percy is on television, it's only appropriate that she take the stage. :) We'll have some very exciting developments in Strangely Beautiful the musical this November!

The Perilous Prophecy of Guard and Goddess (Strangely Beautiful #3) Cover and Trailer reveal!

I give you the cover! (Huge thanks to True-Blood.Net for my cover reveal!)

The back cover reads:

“I cannot recommend this book, this series, or this author enough.” —True-Blood.Net on The Darkly Luminous Fight for Persephone Parker

The Goddess:
In the beginning, there were lovers: a winged deity of power and light, and a queen of grace and beauty. Phoenix was murdered, his beloved stolen away to the Whisper-world. But their passion inspired the Muses. Through great sacrifice, it could live again.
The Guard:
There are always six, mortal hosts for the divine. Battling spirits through the ages, they defy Darkness, Lord of the Dead. In 1867, a shadow rises. The tide turns against them, and all hope falls on a child of prophecy, an eerie, snow-white girl yet to be born. But her path must be cleared. A Great War is coming, and song, wind and stars whisper that eighteen-year-old Beatrice Smith must give everything to prepare."
-
Author's Note: For those who have wondered the why and the how, I hope this prequel will be illuminating, bringing together familiar characters in some of their most formative moments, and introducing characters only spoken of in legend. The stage will also be set for what comes next when the 19th century, and the series, draws to a close in the fourth book. For those new to the Strangely Beautiful world, this prequel would be a fine place to jump in before returning to books one and two. Seeds planted, terrible storms will come, but watered ground means life.
-
Releasing May 2011 - in Trade Paperback and digital - ALONG WITH Trade Paperback reissues of Strangely Beautiful books 1 and 2! All are now available for pre-order.
