Meet THE ETERNA FILES - Advanced Reader Copy contest!

Hello friends!

I am so thrilled to have received my beautiful Advanced Reader Copies of THE ETERNA FILES today from Tor, so there simply must be a contest to receive an ARC of your very own!

Check out how Tor Books featured THE ETERNA FILES at New York Comic Con this year!

About the book: (From Barnes & Noble) - And YES - It's available for Pre-Order!

"Imagine The X-Files meets Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series and set in Victorian London and New York City—welcome to The Eterna Files, written by Leanna Renee Hieber, “the brightest new star in literature”(True-Blood.net)

London, 1882: Queen Victoria appoints Harold Spire of the Metropolitan Police to Special Branch Division Omega. Omega is to secretly investigate paranormal and supernatural events and persons. Spire, a skeptic driven to protect the helpless and see justice done, is the perfect man to lead the department, which employs scholars and scientists, assassins and con men, and a traveling circus. Spire's chief researcher is Rose Everhart, who believes fervently that there is more to the world than can be seen by mortal eyes.

Their first mission: find the Eterna Compound, which grants immortality. Catastrophe destroyed the hidden laboratory in New York City where Eterna was developed, but the Queen is convinced someone escaped—and has a sample of Eterna.

Also searching for Eterna is an American, Clara Templeton, who helped start the project after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln nearly destroyed her nation. Haunted by the ghost of her beloved, she is determined that the Eterna Compound—and the immortality it will convey—will be controlled by the United States, not Great Britain." (Releasing 2/3/15 in hardcover and digital, both formats available for pre-order across all platforms)

I like the cover. I love the description. Exactly what I like to read: historical mystery urban fantasy. I like the London setting. I can't wait to read this.

Thanks for the chance to enter your contest. What caught my attention first in the description was that a circus was part of the team; I've never read a detective story with circus performers among the detectives. Then I backed up and saw there were also scholars and scientists. It sounds fascinating, as does finding a substance that grants eternal life—at what price, I wonder?

I LOVE the cover, and I'm excited to see you in adult shelves. Not that I didn't enjoy the books before, obviously I did, but I'm excited to see maybe a little more darkness.

Bunny would like me to add that we've been on ghost tours in Gettysburg and here in the Land of Lincoln and she thinks that's a great era for ghosts!

We're both looking forward to seeing what's coming up!

I love the cover, the description, everything about this. I have been anxiously awaiting this series since AAD NOLA. I can't wait to read it and I am very interested to see what kinda of limits Tor has allowed you to surpass that your other publishers didn't.

I do believe that you will gain a whole new set of fans and readers by being shelves in the adult section. You will also get readers that would never have thought to pick up your books before because they weren't sure about a YA book.

The cover is what drew me to this link. I love the blackbird and top hat - very 19th century/ Victorian Literature-esque. I look forward to reading it.

I love the cover of The Eterna Files, I have to say that it's my favourite cover out of all your books. To me there is this feeling of simplistic beauty that makes one wonder what the story is about. The synopsis sounds extremely interesting, it reminds me of the types of books I'm leaning towards nowadays. I love this new look and I'm happy you are with Tor books. (Finally I can get a hardcover book of yours! With all my favourite authors I must get a hardcover copy of their books and I'm ecstatic that this new series will be a hardcover!)

There are so many things I love in that description! Paranormal police procedurally are one of my faves, but combined steampunk-like elements it's even better. Really excited about this one!
